These pliers live up to the Milwaukee name. I got them because Milwaukee makes great tools, I also cut pipe occasionally and wanted a pipe extender feature. Haven't tried unwrapping pipes yet but as far as the pliers go they are great. I don't want my pliers to scratch my parts, so the fact that the teeth aren't very sharp does me good. I was able to get great grip and pressure on the parts I was holding with little or no slip. I have a few at home too and can confirm the anti-corrosion coating. These pliers have good deep grooves so I'm not worried about them slipping off under pressure. Pliers don't automatically have a perfect grip, but with the right pressure and use, you can't go wrong with these pliers. WARNING: The ends of these pliers can get pinched, so keep fingers away from the handles.
