Excellent chopper. Works great, just a few puffs. I use this for onions, peppers, garlic and salsa. You still have to get your fingers and nose dirty peeling and chopping onions to put them in, but there's no alternative unless you can afford to hire a personal chef. I've put the whole ring/cap in the dishwasher along with all the other parts (at your own risk, you can't do that) and everything is easy to clean. I've been using it for two months, the blades are good and sharp. Sometimes you get a chunk or two of oversized, barely chopped onions or whatever, but I am completely satisfied with this product. My mom tried mine and wants one for Christmas. 6/2018. I've had it for 8 months now and my mum has 6. We're both very happy so far. The blades are still nice and sharp and everything works great. She doesn't put a lid on her dishwasher, so only time will tell if mine fails first or not. We LOVE this item and even take it with us on vacation.
