Ordered last week, used today.

Ordered last week, used for the first time tonight. Carrots cut very well and arm workout was a bonus. However, I then chopped some onions and when I tried to open it to take out the chopped onions, the top layer of the lid came off. The bottom layer of the lid is firmly glued to the container. I broke two nails and bent the knife trying to open it, but I couldn't, no matter how hard I tried. As a result, I threw everything in the trash, the onion stayed in.

Pros
  • Practical thing

  • No performance

The 2019 version is good. The 2020 version is bad.

I bought in October 2019. That was great. I used it all the time. I even asked my family to buy it. But after a year it broke. I agreed. Let's buy another one. I received a new one. It was built a little differently. You might feel like this setup was shaky. Of course it broke after a few weeks. Revain sent me a new one. That was different too. A few months later it breaks again. Disappointed. Hence 1 star for the 2020 version. 4 stars for the 2019 version (although it broke after a year)…

Poor Quality - Not for long

The product was good while it lasted but poorly finished. I mainly used it to chop garlic. I've only had it 3 or 4 months and haven't used it that much. I noticed that after several uses, the cable started to snap. It finally broke completely when the cable broke from use. You will see in the photos where the cable even cut into the lid (too much friction on the plastic) and the cable snapped and is no longer connected to the lid. I know there are a lot of good reviews on this, but think twice…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are some problems

I love these but they don't last long

I definitely love these otherwise I wouldn't have used 4 of these yet but they just don't last. All the cords you use to turn the blades are broken and the shells are cracked. I was gentle with them but they were used a lot! I think other people who haven't had this problem just don't wear them as often as I do. I love these but this time I will choose a different brand and similar model. Also, for proper cleaning, you'll need to disassemble the top first to make sure the cable doesn't get wet.

Excellent chopper, fast, light

Excellent chopper. Works great, just a few puffs. I use this for onions, peppers, garlic and salsa. You still have to get your fingers and nose dirty peeling and chopping onions to put them in, but there's no alternative unless you can afford to hire a personal chef. I've put the whole ring/cap in the dishwasher along with all the other parts (at your own risk, you can't do that) and everything is easy to clean. I've been using it for two months, the blades are good and sharp. Sometimes you get

Good manual vegetarian food processor.

This is a great tool for the kitchen and outdoor activities (e.g. hiking). It works just as well as my Mini Cuisinart processor. Electric-powered food processors run faster and tend to produce "smoother" chops, but this little Chef'n VeggiChop is no joke either. I use it regularly to mince or mince onions, garlic and various peppers. The first 3-6 pulls on the cable will give you oversized coarse chops. The more you pull the string, the more even the chops will be. I've found that your sliced…

Great with onions and potatoes!

I purchased this item 7 months ago in Arugula. I used it today and just realized I never wrote a review for it. I bought this chopper mainly to chop onions. I hate hate chopping big onions! Not only is it time consuming, but I cry like a baby when I chop onions, and I almost always need onions in my cooking. So I was thrilled when I discovered this product! After 7 months this chopper is holding me up quite well, although I noticed a slight anomaly in the string tension today, it didn't pull…
