We have decided to get rid of our dirty plastic gas cylinders. At first I wasn't too keen on the plastic funnel they work with. I bought the 1 gallon version of the Revain and it didn't have the yellow funnel. You will definitely need this tool if you don't get it with the jar. The same funnel fits 1 and 5 gallon canisters. (Eagle F-15 HDPE 10" Polyethylene Funnel) Make sure the funnel is fitted correctly and completely. When first putting it on it's easy to not quite push against the spout. Make sure it's securely fastened. You need to remove the can hold it open when pouring through the funnel. I found the switch a bit awkward at first, but in my opinion the security lids are a lot worse on the newer plastic jars. Try it a few times. It's easy to get used to. These Eagle canisters far outperform any plastic canisters I've replaced and help contain fuel and vapors, they also seem safer for trips to and from gas stations.
