I know many will say there isn't enough room for a guinea pig, but it's perfect for ours! We had a huge cage with a playroom and she always seemed scared and wouldn't crawl out from under her house. She is much smaller than our other piglets and doesn't look very healthy. We put her in this cage and she seems to like it a lot! She also hangs around in a cage and won't eat and run or hide every time we enter a room. She looks much calmer and has even grown up a bit. She also likes to go into a small house, but she doesn't just stay there. She's smaller than most guinea pigs, so she can't use the ladder to get up, so we just put her food bowl on the floor. We bought a couple of fleece pads that fit perfectly on the underside so cleaning up is a breeze. Sooo light compared to other cages. So yeah, I probably wouldn't recommend this for very large guinea pigs, but it really is the perfect cage for some.
