Just wore this to the beach over the bank holiday weekend. Usually my neck/chest still burns slightly even after reapplying sunscreen. With this scarf, my shoulders are a bit sunburnt (even after multiple applications of sunscreen), but my neck and chest are as brightly white/pale as they are on the beach, so I'd say it's working! I've even flipped it over to cover my back when the sun changes direction and that helped too. I plan to keep it in my purse to wear when the sun comes out on regular walks.
