I have used the Diaper Genie on my two children (they are actually the same Diaper Genies). For my daughter I only bought branded bags (all wasted dollars!) and they fit perfectly. When I bought the same bags for my son (6 years later) the quality has either gone down or my son has a big pile compared to my daughter. I had 6 dips on the seams. It's not fun to deal with. I'm pretty sure I didn't overload them. I figured I might as well save a few bucks and buy cheap stuff. What's the worst that can happen? The worst thing that has happened so far is that I regret not having done it sooner. Not a single mistake and I definitely went overboard with them. Of course I haven't been using them as long as the "originals" but I think they will hold up great. The feel of the plastic is at least on the level of a well-known brand and I don't notice any odors escaping. I will be back to deduct a star if I can't get a seam with this brand.
