This card really makes a difference when I upload photos to my computer. I take a lot of photos with my Sony NEX camera and this card allows me to shoot quickly. I used a different brand's Class 10 UHS 1 card and it couldn't compete with the NEX camera in burst mode. Everything just seemed a little slow. This professional Samsung brand is definitely up for the challenge. I can store tons of images or hours of 1080p video and download them to my Mac Mini in minutes. I really like how fast this card is and it's definitely worth the extra price as not all Class 10 UHS 1 memory cards are created equal. This card is excellent for reading and writing large file formats. I had no problem, I just plugged it into my Sony camera and started shooting. I didn't need to format before using and had no issues with this card. I bought it when it was on sale so I'd recommend waiting until it's cheaper to buy it, but it's definitely worth it for burst shooting with large file formats like RAW. It can run at the highest possible data rate and is now my permanent card in my Sony NEX camera. I definitely recommend this product.
