I recently bought a LED strip light kit with two 16-foot strings of lights. The power supply that came with the kit got so hot, I couldn't hold it in my hand. Within 1 hour, it started intermittently turning on and off. And, within two hours, it died completely. I didn't want to uninstall the light kit I had just worked 2 hours to install to return it, and I was too keen on asking for a replacement power supply for fear that I would receive another low quality fire hazard. So, I searched and found this UL listed product. It is a perfect fit replacement, works exactly like it supposed to, and puts off almost no perceptible heat. Very pleased I found this item.
