This suit lasted 2 years for my son. He out grew it. It was bought to keep my skinny boy warm and last his whole swimming lesson. One of the knees wore out and a small hole was the result. Not too bad for two years of hard playing in rocky ponds, beaches, and rivers. Definitely worth the money. This year we are on our second suit. I have and will continue to recommended it to friends. The zipper has a great easy to reach cord for your child to zip themselves in. I would recommend wearing underwear in the suit to prevent chafing.
