This edger precisely cuts 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/2" and 2" edges on plywood and poplar sheets. I cut the edge for 19 windows. , all but 4 windows are 6ft x 4ft, as are baseboards, door panels and base blocks. It took me a little practice to figure out how to hold the double cut trimmer to get the perfectly chiseled edges I wanted. An adjustment to the angled blades on the "good" side of the trim was required. Lighter edges accept color better than rectangular ones. For 1/2" fillets and 2" socket blocks, I pulled off the trimmer and cut one side of the board at a time. When the blades failed, it was quick. The blades had to be replaced after about 400 feet of edging was completed. Luckily, the trimmer comes with an extra set of blades. In the photo I only changed the blades, so the trimmer comes in two parts. I've highlighted the arrows with a black marker to better see the direction of the cut and to make it easier to reassemble the trimmer parts. Now I need to know how to get additional replacement blade sets. I have a lot of scraps that need trimming.
