Worked very well with a vintage unit

I recently rebuilt a 1950 Eicor tape recorder and a 7" ATR Master -Tape reel used to record music on it. The results were very good. I had no problems recording, deleting, overwriting and playing. The sound quality was excellent (within the limits of a 70 year old soundboard) and there were no dips or other defects in the tape. I'm sure it will work even better in a more modern machine.
