Hooray! Got a new iPhone 12 Pro Max. It's definitely slippery! He fell all the time because of my carelessness. New phone, new scratches, new grief. The ESR Air Armor Case fits well and is easy to put on and take off. The matte parts are just the frame (I thought the whole body was matte). The back cover is made of transparent, not opaque, plastic. The body seems solid. The side faces are made of a harder soft plastic material. I can see how this will help the HEAVY iPhone 12 Pro Max stay safer if it crashes somewhere. The lanyard hole is only suitable for strings with a smaller diameter. I tried two straps, one with a thinner cable attachment point and the other is probably from an old camera strap. Thinner works well, but a thicker one is too big for this case (it was for another case with larger, deeper cutouts). When inserting the cord part into the hole for the lanyard, it protruded and only slightly stretched the side of the body. But it seems to be working. It is better to take the tip of the right size. Other than that, the case seems great at the moment. TIME will tell the whole story. The Cloud case is a durable silicone case. Softer than above and "rougher". Probably not much drop protection, but very nice to hold in hand. Sometimes it's hard to put it in your pocket, but you know, that's the nature of this stuff. An easy-to-find color comes in handy when you lose your phone and start looking for it. ESR = good products at a reasonable price.
