The NETGEAR EX6200 range extender was set up and worked for several years to bring the ATT Uverse Wi-Fi signal to the bedrooms and living rooms of the long ranch at the far end. It worked well, maybe for the first few years, but then, even with firmware updates, performance steadily declined, and there were big periods of the year when my kids couldn't get a decent signal. I've rarely managed to get or keep both signal sections connected to this expander. I decided to try this new Nighthawk as soon as it became available and it made a huge difference in our home. It was very easy to set up and pick up and maintain both bands of the Wi-Fi signal being transmitted throughout the house with very little slowdown. It's nice not to hear daily complaints about how bad the WiFi is in our house. We have a Nighthawk on the opposite end of the house from the AT&T router and it's picking up both bands at full strength. This is a huge improvement over the old Netgear expander.
