I never thought that I would write a review for a great kitchen timer. This one is lean, easy to read, and well done. I love how perfectly the stand fits when you're not using it - at first I thought it wasn't there! The magnet is big and strong. The best thing is that I can read it from my TV seat when he's in the kitchen. I just had to go through the manual to understand how it works, very intuitive. I had to do a little work to remove the battery cover (batteries included) and I was afraid I would scratch the perfect finish. But I haven't scratched it and hopefully the batteries won't have to be changed often. I think I'll buy my mother a second one because big numbers are easy for her to read and loud sounds are easy to hear.
