I was a bit skeptical about buying this scooter at first because of the many reviews of it being difficult to assemble. I really can't understand what people are talking about. It consisted of 4 parts, a frame, 2 wheels and a handlebar. The braking system is the same as the bicycle. It took me 15 minutes to assemble without instructions. My son is 7 years old and we do this all day. Well done, solid! I've treated the wheels with WD-40 for higher speeds and it's great! Great purchase and we would buy this unit again for our other kids if they wanted to!
