I have always been skeptical about buying certified refurbished electronics but I am very happy with this product. I can't tell you what the difference is between this and the new Microsoft Surface laptop, which is great as I'm on the Microsoft team, not Apple. The seller has a good reputation as this product is backed by Microsoft's 1-year warranty with 90 days of technical support. After setting it up, I had a bit of an issue with Microsoft updates, but it wasn't anything YouTube couldn't fix. But I should mention that this product is sensitive to winter weather due to the material it is made of. After taking the refills to school in a computer bag, it wouldn't turn on and I was afraid I'd have to return it after it hadn't worked for more than 4 days. So remember that if you live in a cold condition and plan to travel with this product, you need to keep warm.
