I bought this projector by accident because of the low price. So far I'm very happy with it. This is my first experience with a home projector and the performance is better than I expected for the price. If you're looking for a projector that will work in a brightly lit room, then this isn't it, but projectors that do cost no less than $100. The picture is clear. I wish it had autofocus, but again the price is very low. The fan can be considered noisy when watching something at a low volume through the built-in speakers, but when you connect it to external speakers this isn't an issue. Here are some photos taken at noon in a south-west facing room. The curtains were drawn, the lights in the room were off. I really feel that the performance is way better than what it rightfully should be at this price point. When the sun goes down and the lights are off or dimmed, it's great. I even pointed it at an empty house next to me one night and the image was quite usable. The vacant house is over 25 feet away, which is outside of the working distance description, so I can't complain. I plan to use this to watch outdoor movies with family and friends.
