Won't fit without trimming

Seller didn't mention that if you trimmed the clips to fit the satnav would fit the model. As you can see in the picture it doesn't match the holes in the dash and the clips on the navigation line don't snap. Therefore, in order for it to work, you need to cut the terminals on the device. You bought it and then attached it to stay flush with the dash.
