If your Hummi pees and poops in its wheel, this wheel is not for you! Unfortunately, you can't remove the front cover, and you can't just wipe out all the piss and poop in the wheel and plug. My wheel needs a DEEP CLEANING and I don't want to buy new cork liners. If I had known my hamster would use the bath in his exerciser, I would have gotten a different exerciser without a front cover and cork liner. Great wheel, you just need to know your hummy before you buy. In addition, it is a silent and smooth steering wheel, a very nice design.
