Speakers used in an old surf van I bought. The van's interior was custom made so the wiring and speaker placement for a traditional car radio would be neither easy nor cheap. I use an iPad as the music source. This speaker sounds great and plays really loud, you never have to turn it all the way down. I listen to rock, both new and old bands. I'm very happy with the sound quality; Lots of bass with good mids and highs. The sound quality is perfect for rock music. I can adjust the sound using the iPad's speaker controls and equalizer. Battery life is good when using Bluetooth, and I'm planning to try a cable from the iPad to the auxiliary speaker input to see if it improves battery life. Basically, I am very satisfied with the speaker.
