The ones from the vet didn’t last long at all. (My two active 35-40 lb brittanys were neutered.) These replacement cones were much, much better.Pros: The velcro is excellent. They stayed on even with the dogs bashing into corners, etc. The material was flexible but firm, not brittle like the harder plastic vet cones. Despite being flexible, it was stiff enough.Cons: The fabric around the edges came unraveled, and eventually off after a week. They remained effective.My cones would probably not last through subsequent uses in the future, but they did the job well enough.Note on size: I purchased the 3 sizes package. The larger two were both adequate. I did note that the dogs’ snouts projected a little past the edges of the cones. Perhaps this could be problematic with longer snouted breeds.
