Review on πͺ Freud 10-Inch 80-Tooth Saw Blade for Cutting Plexiglass and Plastic β 5/8-Inch Arbor (Model: LU94M010) by Quinton Wonsley
Will not work on brittle acrylic
Attempt to cut .060 acrylic with this blade. Tried to move very slowly and the acrylic split along the cut leaving a bad unusable edge with a few pieces missing. Similar to every other carbide blade I've tried. I think I need a blade with more teeth and a narrower mouth to cut brittle plastic. This may work for some plastics, but not the plastic I'm trying to cut. Disappointed but what appeared to be a good blade, like all my other Freud blades, just didn't match the material.
