These insoles bring one to the heart of the matter, that is, feeling comfortable in one’s shoes when walking.These synthetic rubberrized, pocketed insoles are nearly like walking on air. They were difficult placing them into the shoe after cutting to the correct inside shoe configuration. This probably because the rubberized bottom sticks to the inside and does not easily slide to the front toe tip.Cutting them slightly smaller (1/8” of an inch around) will allow you to fold the front back on to the insole then push them forward into the shoe and stretch out. Then slowly pull the back of the insole toward the back of the shoe.Once in place my feet felt like they were walking on air, yet still solidly flat in my shoe when walking.There was no indication whether to place the empty squares side up or down. I put the rubberized open squares down, and walked on the smooth side.These thin, confortable insoles are slightly on the expensive side, but if they last a minimum of 2 months, they will be worth it.
