Review on 🔦 Outdoor Motion Sensor Light Bulb by Matthew Maxwell

I bought this lightbulb for my back porch to make it easier for my aging dog to find his way home from the yard at night without my help. It came in a soft pouch rather than a box, so the product box was a little wrinkled inside. Luckily the product wasn't damaged so this isn't a problem for me. It only worked as intended at night and had a motion detection range of around 25 feet. It even worked somehow when walking INSIDE the house with the blinds closed. I still can't figure it out. The light was as bright as I needed, enough to illuminate but not so bright as to bother the neighbors. It stays on for about 15 seconds as advertised with no adjustment. I would prefer 1.5-2 minutes. If I needed to turn it off earlier, I could just use the wall switch. The biggest downside and the deciding factor is that it only took two months. At $13 every two months, I couldn't imagine any energy efficiency savings, even compared to an incandescent bulb. Another annoying consequence of the moving light is that it goes on and off in the wind all night. On the whole I was satisfied with him up until his untimely death. I can't justify buying it again.
