The pole is difficult.
I didn't like the split handle and there is too much plastic around the base of the broom for my use. I had one a year ago and I put a damp cloth on the handle with a hole in the cloth so it could hit the base of the broom and I could use it to mop the floor easily. I'm a great tool for mopping tile floors and then simply washing out the towel afterwards. Now when I use this one, the plastic at the base of the broom scratches the tile floor. I do not like it at all. I like the old style better. patty
