If I didn't know better I'd say it was made right next door to the maker of port freight crimping tools. Don't get me wrong, the workmanship of the ratchet is a little better, except for the protruding rubber grip next to the detent, which cuts your finger when using the detent (see picture), but the quality of the interchangeable sockets is about a notch above that HF and that's it. I'm not sure if sanding those sharp rubber corners would solve the problem. I will try another one to see if it was a defect or all and then update the review accordingly. It comes with a very nice storage case with pockets for storing extra sockets, a screwdriver and an old fashioned wire stripper that probably nobody will use. So if you think you'll need to use different crimping heads at some point, then this is a good deal. Otherwise, if you just want a crimping tool, I've seen way better crimping tools for less money. The result of crimping the connectors looks normal. no better than HF. I like the dots on the heads. Without the sharp corner I would have given 3 stars.
