This is a robust surge protector with a good current rating of 3500 joules. during USB charging. I bought the 25ft version because I think the extra length will come in handy for musical performances. Overall it definitely gets the job done and I would recommend it, especially if you need extra cable length. What I would like to change about this unit: - I would make the head of the plug at a 90 degree angle so that it can be easily placed at a table or entertainment center. - I would also pivot the cord on the unit. I would prefer Ethernet connections to be at least CAT6 rather than CAT5 so you don't lose data speed. I actually think that's quite a shame, but I haven't found any network filters that offer CAT6 speeds. I would install a cable manager if possible.
