What we wanted but don’t expect blackout curtains

We were looking for curtains that weren’t transparent but also weren’t blackout so these looked appealing after looking at reviews. We have very bright light on one side of our house and I wanted light colored curtains to block most of the it but still let some through. This fits the bill. The pattern is very pretty and the subtle light grey/white color works well. I wouldn’t say they are 85% blackout, more like 60-70%. You can see in the pic how much light comes through. I would not use these in my bedroom. The only thing I don’t like is you have to hand wash them. That isn’t ideal at all.
