Almost nothing is said about the compatibility of PILCEV with the car's built-in HomeLink. Called chamberlain customer service and was told it wouldn't work. [Wrong] Called HomeLink and they said "don't do it" but I couldn't find any specific instructions there for this device, at least not for my car model. I ended up using the instructions linked to "other" for a different car model from my automaker. Suffice it to say that you must be PATIENT and use the TRAIN button on the PILCEV.
