This is the most useful soap dish I have ever had. It even holds different types of soap, but not at the same time. If you want you can fill it with water and soften the bar of soap. You may not want to do this, but you can if you want to. This is a good friendly soapbox, no evil aspect. Glazed ceramic is easy to clean and can even be washed with the same soap as soapy water. It is also very durable, there is very little chance that the soap will be so heavy that it will crush a ceramic soap dish. It's good value for money, if I had to take a pottery class and do one it would be a lot more expensive than just buying one of these.
