This is my fourth Anycubic product and it might be the best! The only problem is that I'm someone who loves to tweak and change things. and I SHOULD NOT do that with this printer! There are many good printers that are a bit cheaper, but to make them "great" you need to invest time and money in them. These improvements are already included, so you end up spending less. The typical upgrades I'm talking about are silent steppers, an upgraded extruder, leveling aid and Anycubic signature line rods, two Z-axis steppers, and an extremely rigid frame (no wobbly extruded aluminum here). Check, check, check! My first printer was the original Anycubic i3 Mega and to this day it works perfectly and requires minimal maintenance. Since this one has the same frame and configuration, I have no doubts about the durability of the printer itself and the quality of the prints it produces. Let's talk attitude. All you have to do is screw in a few screws and connect a few cables and you're good to go! The leveling assistant made leveling ridiculously easy, no paper trick needed or worry about scratching the bed and damaging the hot end. Just follow the directions and you will definitely get a good first coat with good adhesion to the textured Ultrabase. NOTE: Remember to REMOVE the included heating element (blue silicone cap) and ensure the nozzle is COOLING DOWN when leveling with the Foam Leveling Auxiliary Tool. Included is Baby Yoda's head, freshly unsealed for your enjoyment and inspection. :) Let's talk about the laser. It wasn't necessary for me since I already have a separate laser engraver, but I really liked the ease of use. It has a quick magnetic mount and you only need a BMP file. You have the ability to view the outline of the engraving so you can align everything perfectly (without etching or leaving marks), as well as easy on-screen options for setting engraving parameters. The woodcut I've pictured was created at 25% power so I'm not worried it might mark what they claim. The resolution is perfect for engraving, take a look at our new favorite bounty hunter I've engraved (pics attached). Many other laser engravers require extensive pre-processing on a PC before you can even start engraving. In addition, the laser can be fixed to the steel frame (as shown in the picture) when not in use. And that's great because I always lose my accessories. A NOTICE. Instructions and additional information about the laser are on the SD card. Be sure to read them. In addition, lasers produce smoke during engraving, be sure to work in a ventilated area when using. I've always recommended the i3 Mega family of printers to friends (one just installed a print farm of 20!) and the PRO is no exception. Stop reading this and click Buy Now. You will not regret it.
