As a graduate student I have tried several laptop desktops and this one is THE BEST! This table goes into all the complaints I've had with others. The surface is smooth but slightly springy (artificial leather), which makes it non-slip, pleasant to write on and pleasant to touch. There are height and angle adjustments for different uses and ergonomic adjustments that most other desks don't have, and they easily move and lock into place, saving you time and frustration. The bookend and edge guide stow neatly under the table or in the drawer respectively, so they are easily accessible when needed and don't take up space elsewhere. The legs are smooth and ski-shaped, allowing the table to slide in and out of you easily while maintaining stability. They also fold up at the base of the table and stay there for storage. Finally, despite many original features, this is the lightest laptop desk I've ever lifted (and there have been many!). The price may seem high at first, but the design and engineering (back, neck, and wrist health) is totally worth the investment if you have the money!
