Review on Station Mechanical Keyboard Keycaps Enhanced by Matt Welch

I've been smearing switches for almost a decade. My biggest wish when lubricating is that the size of the cutouts in the case is accurate. This lube is perfect for that. The cases snap into place so they hold tight yet are very easy to remove. I've had stations that either don't hold the switch body at all (the body just rests against the notch) or are so tight that a tool is required to remove the body. This station has holes for springs and rods. I think the designer can remove the spring retainers as most people don't need a station to hold the springs as they are either bagged or donut lubricated when the derailleur is assembled. The station comes with the hardware needed to raise the station a few inches off the ground and install a plastic sheet to ensure the stems and springs don't fall through. This design could have been better carved to better show off the aesthetics of the design, but it doesn't detract from the station's performance in any way. There are 40 cutouts for the body, stem and spring. Small enough to use anywhere, but large enough that most users only fill it in twice for a whiteboard. At some smaller stations you fill up the device maybe a dozen times, which I don't like. This product also comes with everything you need to lubricate MX style switches (no lube). Metal switch opener (metal is very important), cap puller, switch puller, anti-static tweezers, grease brushes, cleaning brush, and fasteners for lifting the station and attaching the stem/spring base. This product deserves my support and I will be linking it on my social media and the 100+ Discord channels I belong to. If you are just starting out with switch lubrication and don't have any tools at all then this purchase will help you. If you're an experienced greaser and all you need is a station, then you know full well that you can always use a few more brushes and add another to the millions of key pullers you already have.
