I'm always very hesitant to order expensive items from online sellers without being able to see and experience the products in person. I think a lot of us are like that and keep these types of items on our wish lists for months or years, returning regularly to go through our lists and wrestle with that inner struggle over and over again. In this case, fate intervened and I had to press the blinds immediately, so after checking the dimensions four times and many discussions with my wife, I decided to fall straight onto these Yoolax motorized blinds. that I had never seen in person. I opted for faster shipping (which I almost never do) because we wanted the blinds as soon as possible. It's only been a few days but for now I can say it was a good buy. So much so that every other independent item on my wish list has benefited from this rewarded belief, moving up a few percentage points in the Likelihood to Buy category. The anchors are just enough to straighten the blinds, but this has proved unwarranted as the blinds flex a bit and snap into place with relative ease. There was also a lot of frustration when I couldn't connect the remote control, especially since I work in the computer/electronics industry and develop IoT devices as a hobby. It turned out that the battery I put in was strong enough to power the remote but too weak to send an actual signal. FYI: The remote control doesn't include the required CR2032 battery, so you'll need to buy one yourself. When I contacted their support team via a Revain message, they responded quickly and offered me a WhatsApp ID to chat with. The shades themselves look great and work flawlessly. The 85% dimming was perfect for that angle and I don't regret spending a little more on the fabric rod. Although I would have preferred the internal mount version, I had to go with the external mount version. The event I mentioned above was replacing the windows and realizing that the new windows were much thicker and did not allow me to reattach the blinds I had previously installed. While it was a large purchase I doubt I can find a similar price anywhere else, especially when it has to be made to order for your specific window size. I am already in contact with Yoolax to see if they can make a custom size for me that is wider than what they offer. Bottom line: if you are in need but in doubt, buy.
