Works very well. Easy to use for my 5 year old. Small enough for his small hands. But also quite durable. Love the lock button feature so channel or volume etc cannot be changed. Maybe it's a toy but I can use it even when my husband is in our garage and I'm inside. Voices sound clear, and there are even some extra features that come in handy. The only downside so far is that the batteries will quickly drain if left on, going from full to empty without showing that the battery is dead when it does. got to. I will buy rechargeable batteries as 4 AAA batteries are quite expensive every few days.
