Overall impression: I'm starting to use soap bars to reduce plastic bottles in the bathroom. I think it's better to use a soap pouch instead of a soap holder, which can also be a body scrubber. The texture is initially rough/spiky but softens after a few uses. Contrary to other reviews, in my experience the bag does not dry well. It holds moisture well and sometimes sticks to the soap bar (making lathering difficult). It still does its job and is perfect for regular bars of soap. This product is an easy way for me to start a zero waste journey. Something not about the functionality, but about the aesthetics: the wooden bead broke a little after about three months. I've used black charcoal soap a few times and found the color rubbing off on the bag. This situation could have been avoided by using lighter colored soap bars.
