I needed a strong, secure mount for my iPad6 at the helm of my 36ft sailboat. This holder meets all the requirements I had. It holds my iPad firmly without sagging, attaches securely to my rail, and most importantly, holds the iPad very securely in its dual spring clips. I looked at a few of these holders and settled on this one based on the double spring holder and the clamping screw looked like it could be tightened further before holding the iPad without lowering it. This has been confirmed. I would recommend this to any sailor looking to use their iPad at the helm.
