Disappointed good for me

I really want to like this product. It sets up easily and the software is very user friendly. That being said, it is not 1080P, it is 1080N, big difference. The unit doesn't recognize the hard drive. I checked it and the connections were good. I wrote to customer support with no reply. I contacted Best Buy and they don't replace the item. They did offer me $30 credit for my next purchase, however, I am very disappointed that the product is not as advertised and does not work properly as it…

I really like XVIM!

This is the second XVIM camera system that I have owned. I would still have the first one if it were not for the upgrade of the system. The seller made it very easy for me to get the new upgraded system. The cameras show a with good quality.

Easy set up and ability to have an app to monitor

This DVR Security system is small compared to our previous one. Set up was easy. Our existing wired cameras fit perfectly.I did have to contact tech support. The app asked for the S/N #. When I entered the # on the back of the machine, it was not the correct #. Tech support responded quickly and helped me find the correct information. They also answered several other question.Definitely recommend this product.

so easy to set up. the night vision is so clear. It even detects the trees motions. I was able to connect to my phone and I pad. love it. feel so safe at home now.

I had a unit similar to this one although I’m no genus I plugged it in and uploaded the app.Works great I just got it, works well.

Replacement box on my review.

I am very happy with this product. The original set I bought the box had no memory so I couldn't record. This one records I can watch them at work and the pictures are so much sharper than they were before. Also i don't have to pay the cloud subscription fee because the built in memory is enough for my home.

Device works poorly only lets 1/2 the cameras record!

The app for this camera system does not work so there is no remote viewing option. This device only allows 4 of my 8 cameras to record to the DVR even though you can see all 8 cameras on the monitor.

Defective DVR on my review.

I was excited to get the DVR after reading all the reviews and bought one. After I connected the cables and turned on, the XVIM logo pops up and keeps restarting. Tried to remove all cables and still the same problem of auto-restart. Returned it.
