If this brush gets wet, the wood will break. This happened almost immediately with our brush in several places. I tried not to leave it in the water and it still happened. We wanted to try to avoid plastic, but this wood doesn't seem to hold up well when wet. Also, the small metal ring at the top had slipped off the tree. This is not the quality I expected after paying over $10 for a dishwashing brush and reading great reviews. Unfortunately, I was a few days late with the return. I hope the company reads this and allows me to return their defective product anyway.
