I was just looking at my puppy collar, medium tactical collar (40lbs fits a husky) and thought I might buy her a new one to jazz up her bandana. He's still in perfect shape. There are no protruding threads, the handle is used a lot if necessary (mainly for quick transport to the car, since it does not require special handling). This collar is almost 3 years old... perfect. The black paint on the metal buckle is a bit worn but nothing to change that, she is a husky and will ride on concrete, in the mud, snow, water, mud, in a volcano etc just by rubbing her neck. to see what it's like on every imaginable surface. The vet loves the collar, the puppy kennel loves the collar because it's easy to put on and take off with velcro and a metal clasp that's very easy and very secure, but most of all we love the collar. It's not heavy, but it's wide (in a good way), the handle feels secure, I'm sure if I had to I could pick it up in an emergency, and there's soft Velcro all the way around (although we've never bought one to have). Patches.It just deserves 5 stars, that's it.Great for jogging, hiking, home and for general ownership of a husky with ADHD.
