Not recommended for door gates and stair gates
There are two other gates in my house that are sold by other companies. My other gates are stronger and can be opened and closed with one hand. This gate feels very flimsy and the latch is difficult to operate. I use it to keep two older, incontinent dogs from walking around the house. As they are older I think this will do the trick. If I used it on energetic dogs or active toddlers, it definitely wouldn't work. Looks great when you just need more privacy protection.
