Long range and battery life. We have a small outbuilding on the property where I work and I can bring the parent unit here while the girl is sleeping. This was a big step forward for me in my work during the pandemic. Also, lithium ion batteries are obviously one of the best things that has happened to mankind this century. Why four instead of five stars? The power switch is located next to the talk button on the power supply. If you talk to your baby through the monitor at night while half asleep to calm him down, pressing the wrong button can turn him off. If you're ok with the button layout, I recommend them without hesitation. Performance is excellent for five different monitors I've used at different stages for different kids.
