Review on Durable Steel Frame Pet Cot - Foldable, Lightweight And Portable For Dogs & Cats | GigaTent Elevated Bed For Comfortable Play & Rest. by Logan Barela

Underwhelmed on my review.

I bought this to take camping, as I wanted something that would be quick to set up and take down, and move around as sun/wind changes. This was not a great choice. Primary issues: 1 - out of the box, it won't set flat, so it weirded the dog out. I had tested it at home and saw the issue, so I piled boxes on top of it for a couple days to try to stretch the fabric, but it didn't really work. 2 - the legs collapse when the dog steps on. Even if I've been careful about setting it up and trying to push the leg braces into a straight position, when the dog climbs up, they tend to collapse. Maybe it's because it's always popped up at an angle, and then she steps on the end? 3 - there's no way to lock it open or closed. Every time you move it, you have to watch to keep your fingers un-pinched, and then fuss with the legs again to try to keep them locked open. After half a day of messing with this, I gave it up and just chunked it back in the car, and threw down a mat for the dog.

Pros
  • Portable design makes it great for camping trips or road trips with your pet
Cons
  • Could be too small for multiple pets
