Seriously, this was the most durable lamp I've ever installed. The hood is too small. It barely closes the box, and if your box is even a quarter inch from the drywall, there isn't enough room to screw the bracket on. In addition, the assembly of two glass parts is really tedious. A useful trick is to place the lightbulb in a larger clear jar and secure the lightbulb in place. The clear glass holds the bulb in place and then lifts the frosted glass inwards and screws in the posts, which is a challenge in itself as you can't see the hole. But it looks nice - once you raise your blood pressure by a good 20 points.
