My original rubber brushes are finally getting tired and it's time to replace them. One broke and I needed to replace it ASAP so I took them out to try. Yes, the machine is a little noisier than before, but the difference in cleaning is incredible. First, the original brushes ALWAYS left clumps of dog hair on the carpet when cleaning the carpets. I resigned myself to just collecting them as it seemed like a common complaint. It didn't look like a ton of lump so it didn't really matter. These brushes won't let anyone down! I was shocked to walk into my carpeted bedroom and the carpet looked amazing! Second, I have 3 dogs, one with long hair and shedding like a husky. The original brushes were constantly clogged and needed cleaning at least twice a week. They still haven't had to be brushed in 2 weeks and there isn't a single strand of hair around the brushes. I don't understand how there can be such a drastic difference between them. I bought the Roomba when we only had 2 dogs and these new brushes do a better job with 3 dogs than the 2 dog original. I will definitely buy them again.
