As a dad I am very happy with this product and yes it will easily fit any child up to 4.5ft tall and weighing up to 100lbs. The seats are wide and spacious inside, so a big butt is not a problem. Even if the two basic chair sizes get too small, children 15 inches tall can still sit on it like a block. All in all a robust, hard-to-tilt, great entry-level seat for children. on the edge of my coffee table so leaving snacks on my floor isn't a crumbly nightmare.
