When I bought the butterfly chair it was not clear at what age this chair could be used. The age of the chair does not correspond to the age of use. So I sent the product back, it's best to buy such products in stores so you know what you're getting.

The chair arrived and I was glad it was a lot bigger and stronger than I expected. The bright colorful details were so cute it drove my 2 year old grandson crazy. She was still a bit small, but she came in and out normally and had room to grow! Buy this chair and you will not regret it!

Although the chair is adorable and my daughter loves it, the screw on the back of the chair literally fell out on first use. Luckily I found it and put it back in, but it has since fallen out and I can't find the screw. Very disappointed. I usually love Melissa and Doug products, but I am very dissatisfied with this one.

I bought 2 for my girls. Wanted to take them to the beach but never did because they don't fit back in the bag! That's why I bought them because they come with a bag that's easy to carry! If you don't mind never putting it in your bag again then yes buy it, if you want to take it to the beach or park then no it's not worth it.

This chair is well made. My two year old granddaughter loves it. Usually the cup holder is filled with little dolls. It is very durable, easy to fold and put in a bag. I just got two more and two more coming. The front of the chair seat is ten inches off the floor, so keep that in mind if you're ordering for an older child. It's big enough for an older child, but its height can be an issue.

nice chair but mine had a stain on the seat. The fabric looks scratched where it slips through. FYI I ordered one of these versions and one of the newer blue and pink versions as I thought they were the same but just a different color. The green and pink versions were significantly smaller than the newer version. Although the dimensions should have been the same according to the item description, the old one is not as high and the seat is narrower. Came back for a newer one.

This chair is very cute and loved by our family. It comes with a storage bag which is easy to use and just as cute as the chair. The storage bag has a zip opening with a handle on the side and a hook on the top for hanging. My 2 year old fits snugly in the seat. The cup holder holds a typical spill-proof mug well. It's a little tricky to fold but that's a good thing as it doesn't fold on my child when sitting down and getting up from a chair. I can see that my daughter will be able to use this…

So mine was defective as were some of the other reviews which I ignored as there were so many positive reviews. The stitching was all over the main square on the seat. The threads are semi-stitched and re-stitched so there was no way to repair yourself. Judging by the looks, the making of this product is quite symptomatic. It is definitely not safe for children!
