Used in the VW Jetta 2.5 se 2012 but didn't work until I reprogrammed the ECU. I'm not a mechanic, I watched a video on YouTube and found I can do this repair. The check engine light came on, went into autozone and read the code. The card sensor has arrived. After I replaced the card the car started throwing a bunch of different codes, 'tilt idle', oxygen sensor etc. I took it to a local shop, they said it was the ECU. Although this workshop could not do the actual reprogramming, they "friended" the local VW dealership and took it on. The reprogramming cost me $100. the car is like new now. The guys from the local shop said that when they replace it, they also take the MAP sensor to the dealer for reprogramming. I didn't read about it anywhere and didn't see it in any video before the repair. The car was running horribly until I did that. So I would check the price of the ECU reprogramming before deciding to replace this part myself.
