I'm almost 40. My family has a melanoma, I'm fair skinned, soulless, half red, so sun protection is important to me. Skulls the size of a spectrum. I measured my head at 25 and 1/2 inches and tried a size 8 which was too small. So I ordered 8+ and it fits perfectly. Tilley hats are designed to sit low. So when measuring your head, take that measurement and add at least an inch if not 1.5 and get the right size. It's comfortable, it's safe, it feels good.
